B.E.S.A Power Skating Camps 2024 in Arosa
In the year 2024, the BESA Power Skating Camp will already be taking place for the 14th time, and last year's camps were all completely booked out.
This year, the demand for our Power Skating Camps in Arosa is once again enormous. The camp for players aged 10 and above is already fully booked. The first camp for players aged 13 and above is also nearly full, prompting us to add an additional camp from June 15 to 18, which is also generating considerable interest. With Andrey Romanov, we have added a young, hungry, and enthusiastic specialist in skating to our team. Andrey completed a 200-hour training program in the BESA Skating Program. Together with Herbi Schädler, he forms a fantastic team of passionate ice hockey coaches. Andrey spent three years as a junior player in Canada and successfully completed the USA Hockey Coaching Program in the United States. He is proficient in Russian, English, and German.
The list of players who have participated in our camps and will play in the National League in the future continues to grow. Four more former camp participants have secured professional contracts with renowned teams for the upcoming season. Vinzenz Rohrer, selected in the third round of the NHL Draft last year, is returning from Canada to play for the ZSC Lions. Marlon Graf, who has participated in our Arosa camps multiple times, will also be chasing points for the ZSC Lions. The two Ticino players, Lorenzo Canonica and Brian Zanetti, who have also regularly attended Arosa, have signed their first professional contracts – Lorenzo in Lugano and Brian in Langnau. Both players have played very successfully in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) in recent years. They have also achieved outstanding test results in our standardized CHL/NHL On-Ice Tests, clearly demonstrating their exceptional talents.
Our unique On-Ice Test is utilized in each camp, with the centerpiece being the “Benchmark” evaluation. In Europe, we have already tested 19 players drafted in the NHL, including four players in the first round, among them the Detroit Red Wings superstar Lucas Raymond. Their talent was clearly evident. Our evaluation distinctly highlights a player’s strengths and weaknesses.
