SISM Hockey congratulates EHC Kloten on their promotion
Seventh Edition 1

SISM Hockey congratulates EHC Kloten on their win against EHC Olten and their deserved promotion to the National League.

The rise of EHC Kloten was deserved. In the regular season, EHC Kloten dominated and finished the main round with 126 points, with a goal difference of 217:93. The airport town team won 40 games in 50 games. In the play-offs there were 12 wins in 15 games and only 3 defeats, which clearly showed the team’s dominance in the Swiss League. Kloten’s promotion team featured six players who played a major role in the team’s success and some of whom took part in the Arosa Power Skating Camp several times.

Our multiple Power Skating Camp participants Simon Seiler , Marc Marchon , Andri Spiller , Alexei Dostoinov , Martin Ness and Kevin Lindemann , among others, played in the EHC Kloten promotion team . All of these players have developed great and our on-ice testing has clearly shown that these players are ready for higher tasks. Marc played an excellent season and was clearly the best Swiss scorer in the Swiss League and fifth best in the league with 26 goals and 36 assists. Like Marc, Andri laufische was also totally convincing and was also a key player in the team. At the age of 19, Kevin Lidemann has already made his first appearances in professional ice hockey. We wish all players good luck in the National League.

EHC Kloten withstood the great pressure and achieved promotion to the National League. Our former camp participants were top performers on the team and were completely convincing. Phil and Chris Baltisberger, also multiple camp participants, are still represented in the NL Play-Off Final. Chris also scored the game-winning goal in the first final game in Zug. We wish the players continued success in the remaining games.
