Team Camps and Tournaments

Since 1995, SISM Hockey has built an outstanding reputation as a provider of training camps for professional foreign ice hockey teams in Switzerland. Our extensive experience and expertise have established us as a reliable partner in the world of ice hockey, reflecting our dedication and passion for the sport.

Over the years, we have successfully organized more than 250 training camps, offering top-notch training conditions. Additionally, we have arranged over 750 preparation games for foreign teams, pitting them against renowned National and Swiss League teams. Our ability to support tournament organizations in Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Finland, and Kazakhstan has solidified our position as a significant player in international ice hockey.

We take pride in our role of accompanying prominent Swiss teams in various international tournaments, ranging from events in the Czech Republic to a KHL tournament in Astana, Kazakhstan. Our contribution of expertise and support has played a crucial role in helping these teams compete at a high international level.

Undoubtedly, one of the highlights in 2024 is the Lehner Cup in Sursee, Switzerland. This tournament, initiated and founded by SISM Hockey, is now in its 12th edition and will take place from August 22nd to 25th. Some of the best ice hockey teams in Europe will come together here for the competition, including the reigning champion of the Spengler Cup 2023, HC Davos, as well as the top team EV Zug and the traditional hockey team from Budweis, HC Motor České Budějovice. We are very pleased that these successful teams will participate again.

In addition to the Lehner Cup, we also invite teams to the 1881 Bears Trophy in Wil, near St. Gallen and just an hour from Zurich. Wil has excellent infrastructure for ice hockey tournaments, and SISM Hockey was a co-founder of this tournament five years ago. Already confirmed are HC Ambri-Piotta, EHC Kloten representing Eastern Switzerland, the Czech team from Litvinov, HC Verva Litvinov, and we are about to announce the fourth team shortly. The 1881 Bear’s Trophy will take place from August 28th to September 1st, 2024.

Lulea

The 11th Lehner Cup is already history. The 2023 tournament was very fiercely contested. All four teams ended up with three points on their account. Thanks to the better goal difference and the lower number of penalty minutes, the Lehner Cup goes to Sweden for the first time. Congratulations to Luleå Hockey
